Training has now finished for this year, and will restart on the 8th January in Milnrow. A Merry Christmas to you all, see you in January!

Wednesday training suspended until further notice

Because of the ongoing difficulties caused by the lack of storage for equipment at the United Reform Church, Wednesday training will be suspended until further notice with tonight's session being the last; apologies to all for the inconvenience. Tuesdays will continue as normal, so hopefully we'll see all the Shaw students in Milnrow! Please contact Master Keith with any questions.

Monarch Jujitsu Outdoor Course

Master Keith Turner (6th Dan) and Sensei Dave Booth (5th Dan) are running an outdoor course in August. The nature of these courses is that the techniques taught are not found on any syllabus used in normal training. Generally, the focus is on "reality". We will be training in normal, everyday clothes; albeit tracksuit bottoms and t-shirt. Weapons and the use of everyday articles are normally involved. If it's raining, we're going to get wet. If it's cold, we're going to get cold.

You will need; tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt or sweatshirt, trainers, groin guard (optional but advised), a drink and a packed lunch.

Sunday 19th August, 1pm - 4pm
Newbarn Playing Fields, Annersley Ave, Shaw OL2 7HA
Cost £10.

No adult training tonight (junior training on as normal) as we need to move the mats to storage in Milnrow. Any volunteers to help with the mats will be welcome!
